Central to your role will be the hosting of racing and sporting events, revenue and wagering turnover management, and the ownership of well-established customer relationships.

This role will be based in our Auckland office with a Tuesday to Saturday working week. We value a flexible work environment and support a hybrid working model, enabling you to enjoy some work from home, ensuring we achieve work-life balance and individual preferences.
Your day-to-day... Revenue and Wagering turnover management: Monitor customer turnover and revenue.
Successfully drive activities to meet monthly turnover or revenue targets and where possible look to maximise these opportunities.
Always apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify new opportunities to increase turnover or revenue growth.Management of customer relationships: Be seen as the trusted advisor and subject matter expert to the customer through ownership of the relationship between the TAB and customer.
Look to implement actions that add value and develop further strength to the relationship enabling successful outcomes not only for the customer but our wider business.Manage Elite customer events: Oversee hosting opportunities at premier race meetings and premium sports events delivering events of the highest quality.
Use the hosted events programme to retain and entertain the customer.
Assist with post event reporting highlighting key customer themes or trends to consider in future engagements.Customer Focus: The customer must be the front and centre of what you do.
Apply actions that promote strong customer focus and standards.
Be proactive.
Continually look for innovation and improvements to the customer experience through the work that you do.You're a match if you ideally have... 5+ years experience in a customer relationship role, with proven success at a high performing level.Knowledge and passion for NZ horseracing, sport, and wagering is essential.A customer centric approach with expertise in building relationships with a diverse customer base.A deep level of care for your own personal brand, as well as our organisation's reputation and customer experience.Strong attention to detail, a strategic approach, and excellent critical thinking skills.A motivated communicator with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.Who are we?
