Based in Mangere, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join the team.
He whakamarama mo te turanga mahi | About the role No two days will ever be the same, so boredom is never an option! As part of the Maintenance team you will be hands on and could be involved with a wide range of tasks such as:
Providing planned preventative, planned corrective and emergency maintenance services in an industrial environment. Installation of new appliances and equipment and upgrade existing electrical systems. Performing fault diagnosis on electrical systems A good understanding of electrical drawings and ability to mark-up drawings as and when required. Repair electrical systems. Provide support to the engineering team when required. You will be an excellent communicator, engaging with a high standard of customer service as you will be dealing and working with our contractors and fellow employees of the Watercare team.
Nga pukenga e rapu nei matou | About you We would love to hear from you if you have the following attributes, skills and experience:
You are an electrician holding Trade Certificate or Electrical Engineering lvl4 qualification or have an Advanced Trade Certificate, NZCE, Electrical Engineering level 5, or Electrical Engineering Diploma Level 6 qualification would be an advantage. Qualification in Industrial Measurement and Control Level 4 or prepared to work towards this qualification. Minimum of 5 years plus industrial experience preferably within the Water/Wastewater industry and maintaining high volume fluid pumping systems and control systems. Experience working with large continuous liquids and solids process would be an advantage. You hold NZ Electrical Registration with a current NZ Electrical Practicing License A strong commitment to comply with Health and Safety standards. Full drivers licence with a good driving record Nga hua mou | What's in it for you
