The role:
This is a position that specialises in Overhauling and repairing of Helicopter Transmissions. No one day is the same in this role, you could be doing anything from disassembly, rebuilding, inspection, fault diagnosis to certification of Helicopter gearboxes. This role will require you to document, process and maintain maintenance documentation to ensure accurate audit trails so your paperwork skills will need to be top notch along with your engineering skills. You may currently be working as an (L)AME in Aviation and looking for something new – and we have that for you! With plenty to get involved in including disassembly, visual and dimensional inspection, modifications, repairs, re-assembly, testing and certification – there is never a dull moment in our workshop.
This is an exciting role with lots of variety, working in a supportive and dedicated team of engineers, free parking, Monday to Friday hours (7am to 3.30pm) in our Ardmore location. This is an opportunity to work with the best in the business!

Ideally you will have/be:
Experience on all/either MD500 transmissions, Bell 206 or 505 transmissions, and/or Schweizer transmissions.
At least 3 years experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME/LAME) with relevant OEM exposure or ratings or 5 years in a mechanical discipline such as heavy diesel mechanic, transmission mechanic, marine mechanic
Strong team attitude
Understanding of Aircraft log cards.
Exceptional attention to detail
