Joining Temperzone means more than just employment; it's joining a tight-knit family where our culture and values permeate every aspect of our work.Job DescriptionAbout the roleReporting to the production foreman, you will be one of a small team of Electrical Testers within a larger team of assembly workers at our Auckland site, responsible for manufacturing and assembling HVAC Units.
This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours are 6.45am to 3.15pm giving you great work/life balance.Your tasks will include:Assemble and construct electrical control assemblies, including fitting control boxes and wiring as per schematics.Inspect and certify units to meet quality standards, recording test results in a traceable format.Ability to fault find where unit testing standards are not met.Work flexibly across all production areas to provide necessary coverage.QualificationsWhat you will bring to the roleMust hold a valid NZ EST (Electrical Service Technician) licenseWill consider TLC license holders but priority to EST license holdersUnderstanding of electrical and workplace safe work practices3 years work experience as an Electrical Tester1 – 3 years in manufacturing industryAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive hourly rate plus allowancesANZ Benefits Package – discounts for personal bankingHealth Insurance cover with UnimedEmployee Assistance Program – free counselling and wellbeing supportCareer growth and stability working for a successful privately owned NZ companyHow to ApplyFollow the steps which takes you to our external link to answer a few brief questions.We aim to get in touch with you within 2 weeks following the submission of your application.
