The Role In this role, you will report to the department lead, working closely with clients in the energy sector. You'll leverage your experience in structural engineering to manage projects from scoping to delivery, collaborating with internal teams to provide solutions tailored to client needs.
You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering structural designs for key facilities and infrastructure, particularly within the energy sector, as well as in the review process of designs from across the team. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant national projects that contribute to New Zealand's energy landscape.
This role has the opportunity to be based out of either Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Tauranga offices.
About You You are an experienced structural engineer with a background in industrial or energy projects. Proficiency with design tools like Microstation or AutoCAD is essential, as is the ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to clients.
This role is ideal for someone with around 10-15 years of structural engineering experience who is looking to take ownership of high-impact projects within a collaborative team. Ideally being Chartered (CPeng) or working towards that is of huge benefit. Experience in the energy sector or related industries such as manufacturing or heavy infrastructure is an advantage.
