Electrical Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician/Electrical Systems Engineer who has what it takes to succeed in a dynamic and challenging role. As a member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical control systems associated with water and wastewater infrastructure across the district.Skills and experience:Operational knowledge of Automation and telemetry systemsDemonstrated experience in PLC and instrumentation technologyOperational knowledge of telemetry systemsExcellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated proven experience in the running and management of electrical systemsDemonstrated competence with computer applicationsMust be a registered electricianDemonstrated experience in PLC technologyAbility to analyse complex electrical problems and identify solutionsDemonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of SCADA operation and associated software and hardwareDemonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and manage key suppliers and use their services efficientlyDemonstrated effective written and oral communication skillsAbility to be flexible with working hours to accommodate call-out requirements as may be requiredEffective time management skills and ability to work effectively without supervision and collaboratively as an effective team memberApplications close at 12.00pm on Monday, 2 December 2024.
