Electrical Operations Manager

$45 – $50 per hour (negotiable for right person)We are working with a market leading residential electrical contractor based in East Tamaki. Due to continued growth and an excellent pipeline of work, our client is now looking for an Operations Manager to join the team. Working closely with the director, you will be involved in business strategy and decision making, as well as overseeing all the operations of the day-to-day business.Our client focuses purely on new build medium-density residential projects, developing excellent relationships with clients. This role would suit someone who is from an electrical trade background, and either currently working as an Electrical Project Manager and looking for the next challenge in their career, or someone currently working as an Operations Manager and looking for a change.Ideally, you will have the following qualifications and experience:Experienced in medium-density residential projects is preferredMinimum 5 years experience working as an Electrical Project Manager in the NZ marketRegistered Electrician preferredOperations knowledge and understanding keyStrong background in managing teams and delivering projectsSoftware experience in Groundplan and SimProPositive, focused attitude, and ability to mix with different teams and tradesPassion for delivering excellent service for clientsFor the successful candidate, you will be rewarded with:Challenging projects and excellent pipeline of workOpportunity to make the role your ownExcellent hourly rate and company vehicle for work useSurrounded by a positive, fun teamPlease email your CV and a detailed cover letter; or apply through Seek.
