This is a critical role ensuring BCITO's educational programmes, systems, and approaches deliver value for industries under BCITO coverage.The role requires a high level understanding of work based learning, quality assurance, implementation and learner progress. Understanding the nuances of apprenticeships and work based learning models is essential to make an impact in this role. The work based educational thought and people leadership are important aspects of this position and the strategic growth of BCITO.Ko wai koe | E uiga ia te oe | About youBeing a work based learning expert in education and training, you'll be at the forefront of education thought and leadership.You'll have an intimate knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships in the construction industry and have the ability to drive the BCITO education principles forward for learners, employers and industry. Not only that, you'll understand work based quality assurance processes, know how to implement innovative new programmes and be able to set strategy that ensures BCITO learners are supported and progress to completion.You'll be able to operate at a macro level, keeping abreast of workforce trends and work based educational advances and ensuring BCITO evolves with these.
