In this role you will work closely with staff across all subject areas to design and develop student-centered learning experiences in a blended learning environment.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $82,000 and $92,000, dependent on skills and experience.The Education Advisor is based in our EIT | Te Pukenga reporting to the Learning Design and Technologies Lead and will be responsible for: Provide academic guidance and leadership to the faculties Provide advice and support to staff on teaching and learning matters, including: the design and development / redevelopment of new and revised curricula; Facilitate the processing of applications for programme approval, changes to programme, and accreditation through internal institutional quality assurance processes.
Advise and provide reports on progress of developments, projects and initiatives Deliver staff education activities, as per the Staff Development Framework.
He korero mou| About youTo be successful in this role you will have: A qualification at graduate level or above.
A post-graduate qualification in Education.
Current knowledge of the application of tertiary education quality assurance systems and processes, academic regulations and policies, and administration practices.
Extensive knowledge and experience of instructional design principles and practices, curriculum design and development.
Knowledge and experience of current learning and teaching practice including the application of technology that supports learning, and Maori pedagogy Proven ability to balance priorities; identify valid options; solve problems and make decisions in a range of situations.
Advanced report writing, research, and analytical skills.
