Our client, a Kiwi-owned Media company, is looking for a talented professional to join their team. This role requires a high level of writing skill and attention to detail, a commercial mind, and the ability to develop compelling ideas for some of NZ's most well-read magazines. You will have the support of the Sub-Editor and a talented team of content producers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing editorial leadership, coordinating a small dynamic team, maintaining and growing audience engagement, establishing and executing strategy for the titles, and creating commercial initiatives. They will also be able to create compelling ideas for stories, source and conceptualise articles for publications, and write in the appropriate style according to the publication and audience. Most importantly, you will be a hands-on, positive, and collaborative person with the ability to roll your sleeves up to crack the brief with something special. A sunny upbeat personality is key, balanced with a voice and opinion you're not afraid to share. You will also have the opportunity to learn and develop across providing B2B clients with strategic input on their publications and content strategy development.
