Reporting to our Centre Manager and working within a close-knit team you will be joining a dedicated team of Teachers who provide quality care and education to our tamariki. Here's what you'll do on a day-to day basis: Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki Champion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki learning Fully participate in centre activities across all classrooms and cover staff breaks where necessary Support centre operations at all levels Maintain and implement great communication strategies with your team, tamariki, their families/whanau and the whole community Be familiar with the staff and centre routines; being able fully participate in centre activities This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Role requirements: Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must. You'll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
