Our pay: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
We are on the lookout for two energetic Duty Managers who can oversee the smooth running of our business. Needless to say, you will be excellent at customer service and proactive to keep up with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve customers on the counter as required by the management
Ensure all the cash is counted at the end of shift any shortfalls are accounted for
Assist the manager in stock take
Open or close the restaurant as required
Provide continuous attention to guest needs; greet, assist and thank guests in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner
Offer product suggestions when appropriate
Staff training with manager
Any other cleaning required in the premises as per health and safety needed
Keep food control book up to date
Assist manager in making roaster and ordering food supplies
Stock and rotate department products to ensure freshness and date control; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and maintain the lowest supply cost
Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; report faulty equipment and hazards to management
Notify management of team member theft, guest shoplifting, or any action that is illegal and against company policy
To be successful you will need to:
Relevant working experience is preferable but not mandatory, job training is provided
Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
Be physically fit and willing to work hard
Good eye for detail and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
Have a "can-do" attitude
