As hosts, we care for our manuhiri and our team as our own whanau.A little bit about youWe're after someone who can:Manage front of house staff - impart knowledge, skills and training to all front of house staff to ensure high standards.Identify, develop and maintain establishment policies and procedures.Lead workplace sustainability initiatives ensuring all team members contribute to the reduction of ecological damage through the reduction of waste and pollution.Promote and lead our commitment to the Tiaki Promise by involving manuhiri in caring for Aotearoa while they explore our beautiful country.Effectively lead all kaimahi / team members in line with company policies, including recruitment, induction, training and development, and performance reviews - addressing any issues in a timely manner in consultation with the Food & Beverage Manager and People & Capability team.Ensure that team members are familiar with and abide by all company policies and procedures delivering consistently high levels of service.Manage the development, implementation and monitoring of induction and internal training ensuring team members are fully trained to carry out their roles competently and safely.Anything could happen in a day - and we need someone who isn't afraid of a long and varied to-do list!Interested in joining us?The successful applicant will have an affinity for the needs and aspirations of our ultimate stakeholders, Ngai Tahu whanui.
