Duty Manager

We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team in Taupo Central Waikato. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our busy venue ensuring the highest levels of customer service. This full-time role will see you working closely with the management team to drive the success of our Hospitality & Tourism business. What you'll be doing Supervising and coordinating the bar staff to ensure efficient and high-quality customer service Handling customer queries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner Monitoring stock levels and placing orders to maintain adequate inventory Ensuring compliance with all relevant licensing laws and health and safety regulations Assisting with staff scheduling and training to maintain a motivated and skilled team Reporting to the management team on key performance metrics and making recommendations for improvements What we're looking for Proven experience in a similar Duty Manager or senior bartender role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a seamless guest experience Proficient in stock management and inventory control Thorough knowledge of relevant licensing laws and health and safety regulations Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills What we offer We are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
