Duty Manager

We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team in Taupo Central Waikato. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our busy venue ensuring the highest levels of customer service. This full-time role will see you working closely with the management team to drive the success of our Hospitality & Tourism business.What you'll be doingSupervising and coordinating the bar staff to ensure efficient and high-quality customer serviceHandling customer queries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous mannerMonitoring stock levels and placing orders to maintain adequate inventoryEnsuring compliance with all relevant licensing laws and health and safety regulationsAssisting with staff scheduling and training to maintain a motivated and skilled teamReporting to the management team on key performance metrics and making recommendations for improvementsWhat we're looking forProven experience in a similar Duty Manager or senior bartender role within the Hospitality & Tourism industryStrong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a seamless guest experienceProficient in stock management and inventory controlThorough knowledge of relevant licensing laws and health and safety regulationsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhat we offerWe are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
