We welcome you to come in and meet the team.We are open 7 days a week from 11.30am till late, and have live music every Saturday, and run tasting nights and quiz nights, and various other functions and events throughout the year.We are looking for a driven individual, who can step into the environment with confidence and lead a team with our core values in mind. We look out for each other and have each others back.Applicants will need to hold a current General Manager's license, OR fit the criteria to obtain one. Applicants should hold a Liquor Controller Qualification (LCQ)Must have at least 1 year experience in a similar environment- (customer service, table service, bar environment, licensed premise)Shifts may include working days, nights and weekends.The position will involve-Leading, motivating and supporting the front of house team. Ensuring everyone is aware of their responsibilities for the shift, including liquor compliance.Ensuring shifts are managed smoothly, all customers are greeted, and leave happy & are wanting to return.Managing booking enquiries, preparing the tables and staff plan for each shift, and managing walk ins.Ensuring we are compliant with the liquor act at all times.Opening/ Closing the bar, and ensuring all cleaning and security checks are carried out.Manage customer complaints promptlyAssist with achieving wage and cost targets by minimizing waste, monitoring the roster and staff levels, suggesting ideas for improvements.Communicate with the chefs + kitchen team. Call accurate wait times, ensure food is going out to our high standard.Report maintenance issues, and when possible contact the right person to deal with urgent issues.Communicate to Police or Liquor licensing agents as required.Provide training to new and current staff.Please provide as much information as possible with your application.
