The restaurant has 2 hats and we have recently been awarded with "best service" by Metro Magazine in 2019. Located on the waterfront, Baduzzi is open 7 days for lunch and dinner providing delicious food matched with some very interesting and unusual wines. A fast, yet superior and attentive service tops it all off.About the role:This is a rare opportunity to work alongside likeminded and inspiring people in one of the best restaurants in the country. Baduzzi just got an opening for a talented duty manager. You'll be helping the owners run this busy and amazing restaurant. The team is pretty great too. Our front of house squad does a great job and you'll be the captain of the team by working hard and being a role model and inspiration.Tasks Include:Planning menus in consultation with chefsPlanning and organising special functionsArranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budgetMaintaining records of stock levels and financial transactionsEnsuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearanceConferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and serviceSelecting, training and supervising waiting staffTaking reservations, greeting guests and assisting in taking ordersBenefits and perks:Competitive salary for the right candidate and the chance of being part of one of the most talented, kind and fun hospo families you'll ever meet.Skills and experience:At least three years of relevant experience in a similar outlet may substitute for the formal qualifications. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification. Wine & cocktails knowledge will add value to your application but plenty of training will be provided by one of the best wine professionals in the country.
