Duty Manager

Location: 372 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland.The Claddagh is a good old-fashioned Irish Pub and has been an iconic Auckland institution for nearly 30 years. It is best known for its versatility in hosting special events like sports and corporate functions, as well as being an iconic pub in the heart of the Newmarket business district.We are looking for a Duty Manager responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of The Claddagh. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a Duty Manager, understand all aspects of our business, and bring energy to the role by applying the correct principles and practices with our team.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Ensuring high standards of customer service.Providing training to staff.Planning, budgeting, and assisting with costing.Managing cash handling, processing transactions, and overseeing daily financial reports.Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations.Skills & Experience Required:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Duty Manager in the hospitality industry.Qualifications Required:Candidates must hold an LCQ Certificate and a current Manager's Certificate.Staff discounts on food and beverage are available.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a Duty Manager?
