Duty Manager

Collaborate with chefs to design, plan, and regularly update menus, including determining pricing strategies.
Work closely with chefs to coordinate special orders, events, and functions.
Oversee procurement and pricing of supplies, ensuring strict adherence to budget constraints.
Maintain detailed inventory records, managing stock and placing orders with suppliers while implementing the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) policy.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency in dining areas.
Engage with customers to assess their satisfaction with both meals and service.
Recruit, train, and supervise both waitstaff and kitchen personnel.
Create staff schedules, manage rosters, and track attendance.
Handle reservations, greet guests, and assist with order-taking as required.

About you:

Demonstration of good character with no criminal record is essential
A minimum of three years of work experience in this industry or NZQA Level 4 qualifications are required
As a Chinese cuisine, we prefer to be bilingual in Mandarin and English
