We're seeking dedicated and experienced Duty Managers to help us maintain our high standards and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Role Overview:
As the Duty Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and maintaining the high standards that our guests have come to expect. You will manage staff, handle customer inquiries, and ensure that the café operates efficiently and effectively during your shifts. Full Time Role- 30 to 40 Hours per week, Pay starts from $30 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
Team Supervision: Lead, motivate, and manage café staff, including baristas and servers, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service and adhere to company policies.
Customer Service: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns with a positive attitude, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Training & Development: Provide training and support to new and existing staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth.
Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of food and beverages, ensuring that all products meet our standards.
Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety practices and cleanliness standards.
Shift Management: Coordinate staff schedules, manage shift changes, and handle any staffing issues that arise.
Reporting: Prepare reports on sales, staff performance, and customer feedback, and provide insights for improvement.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Hospitality, Business or Management
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage industry would be adventageous.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
