From crafting run sheets and coordinating vendors to rolling up your sleeves on event days, you'll be making unforgettable moments come to life for our clients. Does this sound like you?Pre-Event:All administrative and coordination tasks related to the eventCoordinate vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all is in place before the eventCommunicate with clients and confirm final event details, including guest numbers, menus, timelines, and special requestsSourcing and booking necessary equipment, staff, and suppliesResolving any last-minute changes or problems calmly and efficiently, ensuring client satisfactionCoordinate event setup the day before, making sure all elements align with the client's vision and the run sheetOn-Site Event Management:Act as a point of contact during events, ensuring the event runs smoothly and addressing any issues that may arise.Oversee staff during events, ensuring all roles are fulfilled and that service standards are maintainedLiaise with the Kitchen, Bar, and Service teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the event.Maintain seamless coordination between the Front and Back of House teamsMotivate a team of passionate and highly skilled individuals to deliver on the Man O' War's brand promise, where consistency and attention to detail are paramountStrive to deliver the highest standard of guest experience during events and delivery of the budgeted returnsPost-Event:Coordinate the event pack downConduct event debriefs to analyse performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvementAssist with event reporting and financial reconciliation if necessary.Get ready for the next one!WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOUThis six-month contract is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a high-profile events role with potential for future growth. With the option to extend beyond the busy season, we're looking for someone who's excited to learn and develop with usEvents hours will fluctuate based on event schedules, with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week.
