Responsible for advising on and supporting the learning and professional development of the workforce. Implements and executes policies, processes, and training offerings.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Driver Training Team, you will work independently to deliver world-class Scania Driver Training, Coaching, and Tools for Scania drivers. Specifically, you will work with our clients' drivers to ensure they have the skills to operate their Scania vehicles to optimal efficiency. Your responsibilities include:
Ensuring drivers are aware of all the features of our vehicles and are able to utilise them to maximum efficiencyCoordinating training requirements with Performance Analysts and customersDelivering classroom, webinar and in-cab presentations along with on-the-road trainingAttending truck showsPlanning, designing, and implementing competency-based assessments to measure participant performanceWho you areTo be successful as a Driver Trainer within our organisation, you will be a self-motivated and experienced truck driver with a Class 5 license. You will also have:
Experience as a Scania driver with good product knowledgeExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsCurrent Class 5 licence and Heavy Transport licenseDG goods licence (advantageous)Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
