McMillan Drilling Ltd has a full-time opportunity for a Drillers Assistant to join their team based in Southbridge, Selwyn.

As a Drillers Assistant or Labourer, you can gain practical skills and experience while working with a leading and well-established drilling company.

To be considered, you must hold a Class 1 Full driver's licence. A Class 2 licence and/or experience in construction or roading is an advantage, but not essential.

We are willing to help you to achieve: Vehicle licences - including heavy machinery
Welding skills
Non-Hydrocarbon Drilling Certificate - through Mito
Registration as a Driller with NZDF
This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working outdoors, travelling to different job sites, and are interested in drilling and investigating sub-ground conditions.

Preference will be given to local candidates; however, return transport is available from Hornby, Christchurch to the site each day. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm.
