Diverse Learning Needs Teacher Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.4, Start Date: 27/01/2025, End Date: 17/12/2025 (Special project)
Our kura is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and enthusiastic high needs support teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse and complex needs, ensuring they can achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Knowledge and strengths in supporting students with autism, ADHD, PDD, and other high learning needs are essential. The ability to work in a team with our learner assistants is also required. Part of the role includes supporting learner assistants to plan and manage programmes throughout the week. Good flexibility and a good sense of humour are necessary while working with our tamariki.
