To organize and oversee the despatch processes for The Produce Company's despatch division to ensure deliveries are coordinated effectively.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure despatch systems and plans are all organized formaximum efficiency.
Resolve any issues which may result from the deliveriesand develop plans to ensure they are minimized.
Coordinate the despatch process, account for any abruptchanges to delivery schedule, and ensure high customerservice standards are consistently maintained.
Assist the Dispatch manager with overseeing dispatchteam.
Assist the dispatch manager with implementing innovative
solutions to changes in delivery plans and ensurecontingency plans can be implemented.
Assist the Despatch manager with monitoring, identifyingand improving the despatch loading process. Perform thefinal check on the quality of all deliveries dispatched.
Ensure all incidents related to quality, unexpecteddeliveries and other outstanding issues are recorded.
Assist the Despatch manager in organising incidentrecords, develop and implement alternative plans toresolve issues.
Ensure despatch productivity is maximized andcollectively increases the growth of the business andaligns with the company's objectives.
Consider options for marketing strategies and evaluatethe possibility of implementing these strategies based onthe current levels of output.
Consider and provide suggestions for the improvement ofmarketing plans based on the relevant insight for theallocateddepartment.
Relieve any absent drivers to ensure despatchrequirements are met, ensure customer service prioritized.
Any other tasks may be assigned from time to time asassigned by the employer.

Relevant qualification (Level 2)or 1 year of relevantwork experience
