Your New Role
Working as part of a team in our Dispatch Office, the Operations Clerks act as the direct contact person for customers and communicate with the unit for all service/material/product irregularities. He/she creates schedules to manage the service delivery of catering by drivers and loaders and performance manage teams to ensure maximum efficiency.
Note: This is a 12 month maternity leave position
Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The direct customer contact person stationed within the airport and/or customer operations.
Communicate (promulgate) any irregularities, up counts, additional items etc. to unit.
Communicate any irregular operations and equipment changes.
Communicate as required to on field customer (ops/tower).
Compliance with the regulations (Security / Country / Safety / Company Rules and Procedures).
Interface with the customers' schedules and airport information in real time, optimizing the allocation of workloads to the drivers/loaders in accordance with these requirements, safely meeting on time performance.
Highlight to the management team issues relating to customer schedule adherence, airside health and safety incidents and/or resource allocations.
Monitor airside activities to ensure compliance with the customers' flight schedules, local airport rules and national guidelines.
Maintain and update the flight schedule/movements.
Control and record the movement of the landside vehicles.

Previous experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment where strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
Experience in the airline industry in a similar role would be highly regarded, OR
From 2+ years general work experience in an office or warehouse facility.
From 1+ year experience directing the work of others.
No criminal background.
Good communication skills (written & verbal).
Availability to work a 7-day roster across morning and afternoon shifts.
