Director Project Finance

Our Project Finance team manages the debt requirements for Westpac's Corporate and Institutional project finance customers, including NZ, Australian and global infrastructure investors, NZ central and local government agencies and a range of corporate and institutional companies utilising a range of loan products.Reporting to the Head of Project Finance, you will work with the Westpac Institutional Bank and Corporate teams to manage the project finance debt requirements of a wide range of customers. This will include:Maintaining and cultivating relationships with infrastructure investors local/central government agencies, and advisorsOriginating, structuring and executing project finance transactionsPreparing or revising terms sheets, recommending pricing, negotiating terms with clients and their advisors, documenting facilities in conjunction with internal and external legal counsel.You will work closely with the Head of Project Finance, Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts and product specialists and will have responsibility for drafting credit submissions for project finance transactions. Activity will encompass RFP responses, refinancing's or restructurings, extensions, new to bank transactions, new loan product opportunities, transactions referred from the wider WBC network offshore.Whilst Project Finance will be your core activity you will also have product coverage responsibilities across a range of infrastructure based clients, you will also be required to maintain market relationships with corporate finance advisors, debt advisors, legal firms and other market participants..
