Director of New Zealand Programs and EnterpriseThe College of Global Studies at Arcadia University (based in Philadelphia, PA, USA) is one of the largest campus-based international study programs in the United States and serves over 2200 students each year from over 200 colleges and universities around the country.An opportunity now exists for a skilled and engaging student-centered leader to take on the pivotal role of Director of New Zealand Programs and Enterprise. The College programs in New Zealand currently support on average 250 students per year with a plan for strategic enrollment growth moving forward. The New Zealand team consists of 2 full-time staff, including the Director and 4-5 part-time graduate assistants. Offerings in New Zealand are a combination of partnerships with New Zealand Universities and short-term or semester collaborative/cohort programs.The primary responsibility of the Director is to implement all student programs, engagement activities, and support services as well as plan and oversee the strategic growth of the education-abroad programming in New Zealand. In collaboration with US senior leadership, the Director is expected to construct an educational environment grounded in The College Hallmarks of Teaching and Learning that invites students to participate in a community of learning, encourages the student to interact meaningfully with New Zealand culture and society, and challenges them to engage with the realities of difference.Leading and managing student programs includes all aspects of these programs such as budgeting for activities, preparing and leading excursions, orientations and student activities, hiring speakers and lecturers, scheduling welcome and farewell lunches and dinners, and pastoral care of students.Success in this role will require the Director to develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners; engage their professional networks with local communities, and ensure a quality educational experience for students participating in The College programs in New Zealand.Candidates are asked to submit a cover letter, resume, and salary requirements to ******.
