Position: Director of Marketing & Communications
The Director of Marketing & Communications provides leadership and oversight for institutional marketing and communication plans. Also, manages all external and internal communications and ensures quality, consistency, and integration of communications and marketing supporting the institution's mission, vision, and values, promoting the ministry brand and positive reputation.
Team Management and Leadership Leads and develops a high-performing team to ensure cohesive branding and implements comprehensive and integrated marketing and communications strategies across all internal and external channels. Works closely with advertising counterparts to provide consistent service to clients and ensures timely completion of projects.
Public Information and Reputation Management Serves as the primary media spokesperson and liaison, strategically crafting and disseminating press releases and effectively responding to information requests from media outlets. Supports the social media team in managing direct messages, comments, and posts. Contributes to enhancing the college's public image by writing speeches and specialized administrative communications as needed.
Media Relations Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with the media to secure positive coverage and accurate representation of the college. Proactively engages media contacts, facilitates interviews, and prepares spokespersons to communicate key messages effectively. Handles press inquiries promptly and professionally.
Emergency Management and Crisis Communication Develops and executes crisis communication plans to deliver timely and appropriate messages during emergency situations. Collaborates with relevant departments and media outlets to ensure accurate information is disseminated to the right audiences. Provides leadership and support in managing crisis-related communication challenges while upholding the college's reputation and minimizing potential negative impact.
