About the role NZEI Te Riu Roa is looking for a Director of Communications to join our team in the New Year. You will report to our National Secretary and your role will include:
Leading the communications function at NZEI Te Riu RoaCoaching, developing and leading the communications teamSupporting content development for member recruitment and activationStrategic analysis of the communications environmentProactive and reactive media workCoaching senior leaders and governance representatives for impactful communicationUsing political acumen to promote union/membership-based organisationsSkills and experience Leveraging the media to engage members and the publicExperience in a campaigning environmentManagement of a creative teamCommissioning and developing visual branding and campaign iconographyNZEI Te Riu Roa is committed to honouring and giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
