Are you passionate about education and skilled in fundraising?  St Peter's School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Advancement to lead our fundraising and development initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in the future of our school by securing financial support, building strong relationships, and driving strategic growth.
  
Founded in 1936, St Peter's has a rich history of support through philanthropy and operates within a community dedicated to achieving the best educational outcomes for all.  This is a new role with the chance to bring your expertise to establish the Advancement Office and deepen engagement with our community.
  
Key responsibilities include:  
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement and fundraising strategy that aligns with the school's mission and long-term goals. Fundraising & Campaign Management: Lead all fundraising efforts, including annual giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, and planned giving. Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, parents, and community members. Communications & Marketing: Collaborate on marketing strategies to support fundraising efforts and ensure consistent messaging. Grant Writing: Identify and apply for grants that support the school's initiatives and programs.  We seek a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (not for profit management, business, communications). Proven experience in fundraising and donor engagement, preferably within an educational or not for profit setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Help us shape the future of St Peter's School by leading our development efforts and securing the resources needed to support our vision! For the right candidate we offer a work flexibility, professional development and other benefits.  Remuneration based on experience and skills.  This full-time position will include occasional evening and weekend work.  Position to commence as soon as possible.
