We are excited to offer an exceptional 1-year internship opportunity designed specifically for students who are looking for a placement or graduate position. At Siemens Gamesa, we are looking for motivated interns to join our team, where you will have the chance to apply your academic knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute to impactful projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, network with industry professionals, and make a meaningful impact in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Tasks Include:
Supporting the Digital team in a variety of software programming and agile projects, including ASP.Net core web applications, Unity Simulations, and PLC data collection analytics.
Working with our Data Controlling team to turn data into useful information and digitalised solutions to problems.
Continued analysis of processes and data on site to identify improvement opportunities and chances for AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning).
Exposure to project and programme management, ensuring that best practice project management principles are in place.
Supporting the department in standardisation and good document management practices.
Supporting continuous improvement activities in defined areas of responsibility.
Assisting in the organisation and facilitation of meetings, workshops, and events.
Creation and maintenance of KPI dashboards (PowerBI).
What You Need to Make a Difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:
A passion for Computer Science.
A basic understanding of sprints and working in a semi-agile environment.
Individuals with a structured, logical approach to problems and solutions.
A knowledge of programming languages would be advantageous.
You will need to be currently studying towards a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
