We work closely with local industry operators, TNZ (Tourism NZ), creative agencies, and more to showcase the best of what Rotorua has to offer.Purpose of the Role:As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will spearhead our digital marketing strategies to enhance Rotorua's online presence. Your expertise will drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and boost visitor numbers. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure our digital marketing aligns with our goals and delivers measurable results.Key Responsibilities:Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to promote Rotorua as a premier destination.SEO & Website Management: Optimize website content and performance to improve search engine rankings and user experience.Digital Advertising: Manage campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.Content Creation & Management: Create compelling content for digital channels including websites, blogs, social media, and email newsletters.Email & CRM Marketing: Design and execute email campaigns to drive customer engagement and retention.Collaboration & Relationship Building: Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure synergy across marketing efforts.Compliance & Safety: Stay informed about regulations and promote safe work practices.Key Outcomes:Maintain a robust digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and generate leads.Ensure all parts of the organization reflect the digital marketing strategy.Increase engagement and conversion via social and digital channels.Analyze campaign results and provide data to support marketing activities.Align new marketing materials with brand guidelines and objectives.Qualifications and Experience:Tertiary qualification in Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.Experience managing SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns.Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc.Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven leadership and team management capabilities.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic and supportive team.Play a key role in promoting one of New Zealand's most iconic destinations.Opportunity to work on exciting projects and campaigns.Competitive salary and benefits package.
