American Financial Group is seeking a resourceful and confident Digital Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while playing a critical role in shaping our online marketing strategies. You will lead the execution of digital marketing campaigns that are designed to enhance brand awareness, engage prospective clients, and ultimately drive business growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Planning:**
- Assist in the development of comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and make data-driven recommendations to refine marketing approaches.
2. **Content Creation:**
- Develop engaging and high-quality content for various digital platforms including the company website, social media channels, blogs, and email newsletters.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website traffic and search rankings.
3. **Social Media Management:**
- Manage and enhance the company's presence on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Monitor social media trends and interact with followers to build a strong community around the brand.
4. **Campaign Management:**
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including PPC advertising, email marketing, and promotions, ensuring compliance with budget and timelines.
- Track campaign performance, analyze results, and prepare reports that measure effectiveness and suggest improvements.
5. **Market Research:**
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, target audiences, and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Stay informed on emerging digital marketing tools and industry best practices.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to reaching and engaging our target audience.
- Collaborate with external vendors and agencies when needed, managing relationships to achieve optimized outcomes.
7. **Analytics and Reporting:**
- Utilize analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and overall website traffic.
- Interpret data to assess the health of the marketing strategies and make adept suggestions for ongoing development.
8. **Support Company Initiatives:**

**Requirements:**
- **Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 1 or more years of experience in digital marketing or a related field.
- Proficient in the use of digital marketing tools and software (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot, CMS platforms, social media management tools).
- **Personality Traits:**
- Confident in making decisions and presenting ideas.
- Resourceful, able to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
- **Soft Skills:**
- Excellent strategic planning abilities, with a knack for aligning marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Strong critical thinking skills, capable of analyzing data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Familiarity with SEO, paid digital advertising, email marketing, and content creation.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
