Barnfield Construction Ltd. have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our award-winning team based at our Head Office in Nelson, Lancashire.
Working closely with the Managing Director, Head of Development and external agencies, the Marketing Manager will help position Barnfield Group as a leading contractor, developer and investor whilst increasing the consistency of our brand messaging to our target audiences.
As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of marketing strategies across our Group brands including Barnfield Construction, Barnfield Developments and Barnfield Homes. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects including new build housing scheme launches, creating marketing brochures, producing social media assets and more. You will be well-organised, a great communicator and enjoy managing a multitude of different projects simultaneously.
This is a great opportunity for a Marketing Executive looking for progression or a Marketing/Communications Manager looking to own the strategy in a well-structured and successful company.
Responsibilities Duties & responsibilities: Manage and execute an annual marketing plan. Report on marketing strategies and make recommendations. Be the brand guardian ensuring the continuous delivery of the brand. Managing public relations including writing and distributing press releases, arranging press events and entering the company into relevant industry awards. Social media management including creating compelling content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Increasing traffic to the company websites through a variety of marketing campaigns. Maintaining content on our websites through WordPress, writing and adding new content pages and producing insightful, relevant blogs to maintain SEO. Liaising with the web development agency where necessary. Liaising with videographers and photographers to maintain an image bank of projects for the portfolio, website, social media and PR. Liaising with signage contractor on bespoke development and construction site boards. Attending site where necessary to ensure any signage is erected in the best location to allow maximum exposure to traffic and pedestrians. Producing development brochures for Barnfield Homes and Barnfield Developments. Updating the Company brochures. Using Canva to design marketing materials such as social media assets, internal communications and adverts. Managing internal communications including collating information, briefing external agency on company newsletters and creating content for internal TV screens. Championing events such as the Barnfield Christmas party and looking after sponsorship of local clubs, community events and charities. Marketing of French Chateau. Manage the BFC corporate box including organising attendees for home games and associated marketing to ensure effective and full use of the sponsorship package. Manage the Co-op Live package. Attend targeted networking events for example Burnley Bondholders. Adhoc duties as required. Qualifications You will bring: Excellent IT, writing and editing skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in writing, face to face and by phone. A flexible approach and able to balance different aspects of this role. The ability to work autonomously but closely with the MD & Head of Development and external agencies. A relevant degree in Marketing or Business, or a related field or proven marketing experience. Experience of CMS platforms such as WordPress and social media management tools such as Hootsuite.
