The Role As the Digital Content Specialist (Marketing), you will design, produce, and publish high-quality marketing, events, and campaign content for Massey's websites.
Reporting to the Manager Digital Content, your role involves crafting engaging, market-driven content that enhances user journeys and supports marketing efforts.
We are seeking a talented digital content professional with a passion for creating accessible, customer-focused web content.
The ideal candidate will have strong content management skills, advocate for user needs, and drive continuous improvement.
Location We will consider candidates in Palmerston North or Wellington campus.
This is a fixed-term position covering parental leave from January 13, 2025, to October 2025.
Salary Band $67,184 to $95,514 (based on skills and experience).
Key Responsibilities Write, edit, and manage accessible web content.
Develop and publish digital marketing and campaign content.
Support the continuous improvement of user journeys and advocate for user needs.
Implement best practices in web content and information architecture on public-facing platforms.
What You'll Bring A Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
At least five years' experience in web writing, content management, or digital marketing.
Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
Expertise in digital marketing and reporting tools, such as Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Looker Studio.
Experience with web content management systems (ideally Wagtail CMS).
An innovative and creative approach to work.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
Experience in a university or large organisation environment is a plus.
