Job Description: Digital Content Specialist (Marketing)
Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to design, produce and publish high-quality marketing, events and campaign content for Massey websites.
Department: Digital Content Team
Location: Palmerston North or Wellington preferred; Auckland considered
Reports to: Manager, Digital Content
Responsible for: Nil
Delegations: Nil

Digital Content Manager and team
External marketing vendors and agencies
Marketing and recruitment teams
National and campus events teams
Wider communications and publishing teams

About this area: The Digital Content Team staff are passionate, committed, and work to improve the web experience of those using Massey's platforms, both internal and external. We are a team of content editors and writers with best web practice and technical web expertise.

Accountabilities:

Content production: Crafting engaging, market-driven content, meeting web best practice standards.
Write, edit and approve web content for marketing campaigns and events.
Content Management: Manage content, images, and documents across Massey's public website.
Customer Focus: Advocate for users' needs and expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred (e.g., English or Communications, or a related field).
Experience:

At least 5 years' experience in web writing, content management and/or digital marketing.
Strong writing, editing and content development skills.
Experience with web content management systems and best practices.
Understanding of web content strategies and best practices.

Pre-employment checks: Requirement to pass a Criminal and Traffic Convictions (Security) Check performed by the Ministry of Justice.
