Digger Operator & Orchard Worker

Darling Horticulture is excited to announce an opening for a Digger Operator & Orchard Worker to join our dedicated team in Waiharara, Far North. If you have a passion for horticulture and experience in operating heavy machinery, we want to hear from you! In this role, you'll be part of the team that carries out all the various aspects of avocado cultivation from operating machinery to maintaining and ultimately harvesting our orchard. What you will be doing: Operating diggers and other machinery for planting and maintenance in our avocado orchard. Assisting, when required, in daily orchard tasks, including planting, pruning, and harvesting. Performing essential tasks such as pruning, tying down branches, and mulching. Ability to follow instructions precisely and contribute to team efforts. Legal right to work in New Zealand. Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
