Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered Dietitian to join our team at MidCentral, with an interest in Surgical Dietetics being an advantage. This is a permanent full-time position with hours of work being 40 hours a week, working Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will work alongside a variety of healthcare professionals as part of multidisciplinary teams in a variety of settings, primarily focusing on inpatient care with some outreach clinics as required to ensure consistent, comprehensive care and better health outcomes for individuals and their whanau. The position is expected to provide services to where the need is required across the MidCentral district.
