The role is based at Bay of Islands Hospital and is a permanent, part-time role working 32 hours per week split across 20 hours in community dietetics and 12 hours for inpatient dietetics.In this role, you will provide dietetic care as a community dietitian across the mid north and far north. You will also lead the implementation of our new dietetic role at Kawakawa Hospital to provide patient/whanau centred care, which is safe, effective and outcome-focused. These roles work within a multi-disciplinary framework, working closely with colleagues in community and on the wards.Key requirements:Qualification in dietetics, as recognised by the New Zealand Dietitians BoardCurrent registration with the Dietitians Board of New Zealand and Prescriber's EndorsementCurrent NZ Driver's LicenceAt least 3 years' experience working in a variety of clinical areasAbility to work as part of a multidisciplinary teamYou will be part of the team at Bay of Islands Hospital, but also part of the wider Dietetic team of 24 dietitians working across Te Tai Tokerau.
