You'll also assist with post-hire mechanical inspections and provide breakdown support as needed. This role offers a great opportunity to work with a variety of machinery, including earthmoving and access equipment.What's In It For You:Full-time, permanent position with stable hours.Opportunity to work with earthmoving equipment and more.Supportive team and growth potential.Variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.What You Will Be Doing:Servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment in a timely manner.Supporting the Service Manager with mechanical breakdowns and on-site services.Completing job cards, documenting labour, and parts used.Conducting post-hire mechanical inspections and safety checks.Reporting and repairing faults, ensuring equipment operates safely.Prioritising mechanical tasks based on demand.Installing GPS, decals, and completing compliance tasks for new fleet inducts.Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.What We Require:Minimum 3 years experience as a mechanic.NZ driver's license.Wheels, Tracks, and Roller endorsement is ideal.Mechanical knowledge essential; earthmoving equipment experience preferred.Exposure to access equipment is a bonus.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work unsupervised and use technology effectively.Team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.Commitment to safety and attention to detail.Responsible, organised, and eager to contribute to team success.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND.
