Burlington Village is a resort style complex for the "young at heart". We are located on the northern side of Christchurch, near Redwood.
We are looking to fill the position of maintenance. The successful candidate will have sound maintenance skills. No one day is the same at Burlington!
About the role – Mo te TurangaIn this full-time position, you will be part of our maintenance team to carry out ongoing maintenance and repairs within the Care Centre and our dementia facility, also helping to keep the grounds and gardens tidy as required. Some specific tasks include:
Carry out any repairs and general maintenance within the Care Centre.Assist from time to time with village maintenance and project work.Managing building maintenance in line with maintenance schedule and compliance requirements.Organising/managing external contractors to ensure works are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.Being part of a rolling on-call roster to cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.There will never be a dull day at Burlington, as every day is full of variety for our residents and our staff!
