Diesel Generator Mechanic - Technician

The company has the industry knowledge and skill to tackle any job, big or small.
We also specialise in fuel tank installations above and underground, pipework and bowser installations, fuel station decommissioning, soil remediation works, and fuel & water monitoring systems.
We are now seeking an experienced Diesel Generator Mechanic / Technician to join our team with the growing network of projects we have in the diesel generator market. Based in our Wellington branch, travel will be necessary.
The successful applicants will possess the following: Diesel generator experience, servicing and maintenance.Diesel mechanic qualification or ElectricianInstallation of diesel fuel system experience, including the installation of diesel tanks/pipework/commissioning.Stainless steel fabricator skills would be desired, training can be provided.Ability to fault-find and work autonomously.Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace health & safety.Hold a full NZ drivers licence.Working Conditions: Workshop based in Wellington.Working within hazardous areas.Out of area travel and work required.Monday to Friday 40 hours guaranteed, with the possibility of overtime.What's on Offer: Competitive salary commensurate with skill and experience.Accommodation and meals covered when working away.Training and career progression within the company.Company vehicle and phone.To apply for this position please email your resume and cover letter to [email protected]
