Reporting to a supportive Quality Manager and working alongside and in consultation with the Clinical Management Team, you will be based at St John of God Karori, for 2 days (16 hours) per week.
You will have the support and work closely with the Workforce Development team based in our Christchurch service.
Ideally, you are an experienced Careerforce assessor or willing to train to become one.
You will oversee the induction and orientation programmes for all staff as well as facilitating ongoing training programmes within the facility.
You will also provide consultation, advice and coordinate education for members of the management team.
Qualities We Are Seeking: A Nursing qualification and registration Be a Careerforce Facilitator/Assessor (or a willingness to train to become one) Relevant tertiary qualification Experience in delivering presentations to a variety of audiences especially healthcare professionals.
Technologically savvy and innovative Proactivity and being comfortable working autonomously.
Ability to multi-task and pivot as priorities shift Culturally competent and understanding of Enabling Good Lives (EGL) principles Strong organisational skills If you are this special someone who could or willing to upskill to deliver the above and enjoy the role of educator - we would love to hear from you.
