Despatch Team Member

You'll be working in our Yard and Drive Thru area to arrange the delivery of customer orders efficiently, so that they are delivered in full, on time, and in specification.
Daily you will be responsible for:
Pulling orders to get them ready for delivery
Coordinating trucks in an efficient and effective way
Ensuring the loads are strapped/wrapped and secure for transport
Serving our customers within the Yard & Drive Thru when needed
Assisting as directed to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintained
Monitoring inventory and cycle counts
This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday based in PlaceMakers Riccarton Branch.
About you:
You will play a lead role in capturing sales opportunities across your portfolio; therefore, your passion for building rapport and long-lasting customer relationships is an absolute must!
Full clean class 1 driver licence and Forklift licence/Experience
Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience
Physically fit with solid health and safety values
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Great attention to detail and be organised
Pre-employment checks including references, medical, drug test and a Criminal background check are required, as well as the legal right to work in NZ indefinitely.
