With the departure of our outstanding Deputy Principal to further his career overseas, we are seeking a dynamic educational leader to continue and enhance the current strategic direction of the school. Our successful applicant will be stepping into the role of SENCo, so it is essential that they demonstrate an empathy and understanding of neurodiversity and students with additional learning needs.

We are looking for a Deputy Principal who:
Demonstrates strong, relational skills such as being approachable, trustworthy, fair, supportive, and positive with a sense of humour
Is a strong, confident educational leader who is capable of continuing the strategic direction of the school
Has a proven ability to build on culturally responsive practices and promote cultural diversity
Strongly commits to upholding and giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and understands Maori culture, values and perspectives
Is a strategic and analytical thinker who maintains high standards
Is student focused, emphasising wellbeing and academic excellence
Is a leader with a strong understanding of 'Education with a Heart' who fosters a nurturing environment for staff who are adapting to change
