Priority Teacher Supply Allowance (PTSA).At P.I., we provide a 'Home to Innovative Learners and Leaders' and due to promotion, we are looking for a highly innovative and adaptive leader who is wanting to turn their hand to senior leadership.You will be an integral part of a highly collaborative leadership team with coaching that will support your growth. This fully walking role will provide you with the time and expertise to learn the role and make it your own. Key responsibilities include curriculum leadership, coaching teachers in their planning and practice, day-to-day organisation, and pastoral care.As an exemplary role-model of leadership in our school community, you will:Have an unrelenting commitment to putting people and your relationships with people at the centre of what you do.Have sound skills in managing relationships, ensuring inclusion, rejecting deficit thinking, negotiating difference, and resolving conflict.Enact culturally responsive practices - commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi is vital, and Relationship-Based Learning practices are advantageous.Enact restorative and positive practices - PB4L experience is a bonus.Have the commitment and capability to create optimal learning conditions for students, staff, and whanau.Be able to walk the talk as an experienced and impactful teacher with sound pedagogical content knowledge.Have sound assessment practices - knowledge of 21st-century skills is important, and using formative assessment rubrics is a bonus.Have successful experience in leading teams and initiatives.Papakura Intermediate provides strategic and visionary leadership focused on growing every individual to fulfil their potential.
