We offer a broad curriculum across Y9-13 that caters for our diverse student body and our unique location on the fringe of Auckland. Our school values of manaakitanga, puumautanga, kotahitanga and aarahitanga underpin all interactions within the school and drive our teaching and learning programmes. The school is committed to serving its community by providing a learning and social environment where all students can be the best that they can be. We are seeking an educational leader with significant experience of middle or senior leadership and, ideally, whole school responsibilities in a secondary school context. A proven track record of leading initiatives within a school to improve student engagement and achievement is being sought. Experience in systems management and oversight is also an advantage. Teaching and learning is a core responsibility for all members of the senior team. The role will also include pastoral responsibility for a year level, working together with a team of two Kaitiaki Aakonga (Deans). Other key areas of leadership will be assigned by negotiation. A collaborative approach, as part of a newly formed and high functioning senior leadership team, is essential.
