Significant experience of middle or senior leadership and, ideally, whole school responsibilities are preferred. A proven track record of leading initiatives within a school to improve achievement and engagement for students is also desirable.The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will facilitate initiatives to support student engagement and achievement outcomes, lead the implementation of changes to New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA courses, be confident in leading PLD and willing to support and mentor staff. Experience in systems management and oversight is also an advantage. Teaching and learning is a core responsibility for all members of the Senior Leadership team.
