Together with our patients, their families and caregivers, we aim to deliver integrated healthcare services and programmes that help in Adding Years of Healthy Life to all concerned.Job description:The Deputy Director, Partnerships collaborates with internal stakeholders to grow strategic alliances and leads the implementation of strategic engagement and place-based partnerships to advance the NHG Population Health Campus strategy.The post holder will drive the formulation and implementation of NHG's strategic contracting framework and tools to negotiate and manage collaborations with all community partners to improve population health outcomes and well-being of communities.He/She manages the overall partner portfolio, working with internal stakeholders to upkeep the Partnership Relationship Management system as the central communications system to align partnership activities and organisational goals.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlace-Based PartnershipsStrategic PlanningUnderstand the multi-layered community sector landscape in Central and North Singapore and develop the taxonomy of "Partners" to NHG, based on the specific roles and interests of each partner to foster effective collaboration and achieve common goals.Drive the development and implementation of NHG population health partnerships model. The partnerships model includes governance (i.e., a contracting framework with roles and responsibilities and performance monitoring) and engagement to communicate and align partners around common population health objectives.Strategic AlignmentBuild and sustain trusting relations with internal stakeholders and partners in the primary care and community sector through consistent engagement and communication to ensure that all parties are working together in a coordinated and cohesive manner to achieve shared goals and objectives, focusing on collective impact.Engage and mobilise community partners towards the social movement for health and "Adding 15 Million Years of Healthy Life".Strategic ImplementationIn-Person Platforms: Organise bilateral meetings, steering committees, Population Health Collective Leadership Council, Population Health Collective Annual Workplan Seminar to drive the co-development of NHG population health strategy, progress tracking of mutual workplans, key decision-making and further collaboration.Digital Platforms: Co-develop regular PHC newsletter to reinforce NHG's role as the regional health manager and encourage continuous learning. Drive the development and adoption of digital enablers (eg Partnership Relationship Management (PRM), Partners Portal, NHG Cares App, Resident Wallet, etc) with internal stakeholders, partners and vendors through project teams/committees to support NHG's collaborative partnerships model for population health, with partners and residents.Contract ManagementStrategic PlanningEstablish the overarching NHG contracting framework with defined contract management tasks and accountabilities to effectively manage the oversight of all collaborations with community partners, and to prevent the unnecessary proliferation of contracts. This includes contract creation, execution, administration, performance management, risk management, reporting and storage, to minimise risks and maximise benefits for all parties involved.Strategic AlignmentProvide training to educate staff on established contract management framework across all NHG affiliates and regularly assess and optimise contract management practices. This will ensure consistency in contract terms and conditions, standardise risk management practices, reduce the need for multiple templates and negotiations and facilitate scaling of projects.Strategic ImplementationLeverage on contract management technology/software to execute (e.g. Signify or Adobe Sign) and store (NHG Customer Relationship Management) contracts, to streamline contract management processes.Job RequirementsEducation and ExperienceDegree from a recognized university, with proven experience in managerial/ supervisory positions. Additional Degree in Business or Healthcare Management will be an advantage.Minimum 8-10 years in a management role.Leadership experience in partnerships, business development, public/population health, primary care, community care, or related fields will be an advantage.Experience in delivering projects across the full life cycle (i.e. vision setting, project conceptualisation and strategic planning, policy and regulations navigation, data collection and analysis, stakeholder engagement, budget approvals and management, and project implementation).Must possess strong forward planning, strategic thinking, administrative and project coordination skills.Strong written, analytical and communication skills.Proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.Personal AttributesExcellent organizational and leadership skills.Forward looking and results oriented.High business acumen.Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking and analytical abilities.Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and public-speaking skills.Demonstrate ability in leading the development of a sizable team, with the ability to motivate and inspire employees.Ability to work effectively with peers or partners and engage people from diverse backgrounds.
